But When?

When did I realize how Awkward I was?

I think it was the first day of Grade 6.  Over the summer I had this growth spurt.  

Wallahi, I think I grew about 2 feet because on the first day of school, I was like 2 feet taller than my girlfriends and 1 foot taller than all of the boys.

The worse part.. in the Grade 6 Class Picture, I had to stand in the back with all of the boys.  They have cooties.

Cabbage Patch

I was in a class today.  There were 26 of us.  First time we had all ever met.  But, I was called to the blackboard (white board) to write one of the examples from class. 

And as I was walking across the room, I got cheers from everyone (as we had done to the prior individuals) with a "Go Teresa, Go Teresa" and yep, I did it... the Cabbage Patch.

Honesty

Is it just American Mom's that teach their boys NOT to say this, "As I was walking through the room, I saw your tummy and thought to myself 'What happened? She used to take care if herself'!" Awkward Muslimah Moment

Yep, pretty much describes me
